WebJul 13, 2014 · I obvously assumed that all knows Surface runs Windows RT, but of course, newly updated version of Windows RT (with 8.1.1 update) was what I meant. Anyways, seems like they don't do this for that specific version and closing thread as solved. The Surface Pro runs Windows 8.1 and the Surface RT runs Windows RT.
