The flat file have fixed width columns, but some column are not present in a row (a column can have a CRLF, which must be a new line) like this a b c the first rowok iu jjrjdd this is a newline How I can have exactly the same number of line and exact data in my output? WebOnce your data is broken into rows, you should be able to liberally apply substring () to slice out your columns for each row type. This probably won't perform well, but if you need to show a proof of concept to get access to SSIS, it might suffice.
